The latest fun

So over the past year we have been hiking, shooting, swimming etc. . . so where to start lets start with her growing up so much over the past few months. . .

Lets start with the taking her shooting for the first time she was great at 75 yds she put a full mag in the neck of a bowling pin

which by the way she was loving this boosted her confidence so much

 went hiking in multiple places Sturtevant Falls, Lost trails & Azusa canyon and when we went hiking we also did a little gold panning as well. . .

Now we come to her bday time she wanted to go see the new cars land so we went off we go visiting good ol' route 66 well Disney's Route 66 that is. The real Route 66 will be this summer.  But here are some pics from Disney's route 66 with a few friends in the picture.

Photography through her eyes is simply amazing, we got her a Nikon point and shoot she loves it. . . It is truly amazing to see the world through a child's eyes. How their perspective is of everyday life. . .

If you read the last post i mentioned we added a new family member yeeeea. . . this pup is a hand full. His name is Nieko. . . and he watches her like a hawk. . .

Now on spring break we went to the movies and saw the Croods. It was a little sad but she enjoyed the movie very much.  Then i took Hannah hiking where we walk through mustard seeds, hiked along a dam saw a family of ducks. . .

So that sums it up there were a lot more things we did and had fun doing but those are the highlights of what i am posting. . . i will be back with more and more and more as we continue our shenanigans. . .

We're back!!!

So we've been so busy growing up dealing with life going to school kindergarten and now 1st grade man time has flown by. My little one is now 6 yrs old!!!! but needless to say we are back doing what we need and still being a couple of shenaniganizers lol.  But we have a new pup to add to our craziness and boy oh boy he is a hand full.

Tea Party

So the past week Hannah an my self have had a cold. Coughing and coughing an just feeling all around misarable. So today i decided to do something special to get hannah's mind off of feeling yucky.

I had her hide in the room while i got a table and her tea set. Also i took two of her 4 ft stuff animals that she calls, " Princess Lion, And Princess Zebra" so once i was done setting up I called her out. The excitement on her face was worth it.

We had cinnimon/sage tea with nutter butter cookies. (I didn't have time to make little cakes) but she was soooo excited we had tea, sugar in the sugar dish cookies and all.

All I can say is, "My daughter is amazing"

All I can say is my little girl is amazing she does all these amazing things I am just glad that we are trying to give Hannah anything and everything so she has more doors open in her future. That's the best we can do for her.

So here is the past few weeks in a nut shell.  Well the past couple weeks have been pretty full of events, with Hannah's Ju Jit Su promotion. She is so proud of her accomplishments through out her class she is now on her 2nd strip. She needs two more and she'll be a yellow w/ white strip.  Her desire to keep going an trying harder to get better is great couldn't be prouder of her. She tries so hard even when she has to spar a little girl who is 8 lbs heavier than her. But she still puts 100% effort into sparing with who she is paired up with. And refuses to give up.

Hannah gives her effort in everything she does.  Its funny when people ask oh what does she do? Is she in dance or something? And I tell them she does modeling, and Brazilian Ju Jit Su. It's too funny when their mouths drop and they're speechless. Then the icing on the cake Hannah chimes in to talk about doing an arm bar, sweep or any other move she knows. Priceless!

The last funny thing we or I should say, "I" decided to do was to make fun of all this wing nuts and
ding bats out there that kept saying, "the world ends on Saturday" I think the picture explains it all. =)

Curiosity. . . Daddy's utter loss of words

I know its been a while since I last updated my blog bout Hannah and I but we're back.
And our adventures continue on and oh boy we've got stories.

Today just like any other day same routine same thing every day. Hannah wakes up she eats waffles while she is eating I go about my morning routine dishes if they're not done, feed Hannah's fishy, water our plants oxygenate here sea monkeys. That's where my morning got interesting. . .

So I was aerating the water for the sea monkeys it helps create a healthy environment.
Yeah well Hannah ask: "Daddy what's that for? Why are you blowing bubbles with that purple thing?"
Daddy: "Its to make air bubbles in the water so they can breath and eat the green stuff."
Hannah: "Oh cool, um daddy why are those two sea monkeys stuck together?"
Daddy: "Uhhhhhh. . . . . . . . . . . . . We'll talk bout that later baby, go finish eating." =}

Uh daddy's loss for words. I thought I'd be able to approach that subject like a pro. Yea um no. better luck next time. . . I hope. . .

Our Pumpkin Adventure

WARNING. . . this pumpkin adventure isn't for the faint hearted. Or the people with lack of imagination. . . READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. . .Enjoy. . .

So on sat. the 16th we went to Tanaka Farms to go pick out our pumpkins like we do every year. .

We got to walk around all over the fields dig through plants to try to find the perfect pumpkin. 

It was a sort of a gloomy day cool weather but all around fun. . . Perfect day to go home and snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate. . . but we didn't do that last part, gotta have the hot coco mix first. . .

But. . . this was our day first we get there looking around. . . And I am some how reminded of the Halloween special of charlie brown. . . the great pumpkin.

So once we got there there were soooo many pumpkins to choose from but which one? But Hannah had found one she like right away. . .

                  but Hannah wanted a white one also. . .

Luckily for mom there was only one white pumpkin in the whole patch. . . So it was an easy choice for her. . .



We also went to pick veggies fresh from the dirt I had to be careful cause one too many people ask me if I work there hmmmm. . . let me see do I look like i work there. . .

 I must be wearing a bright orange shirt that says, "Tanaka Farms" Yup. that's what it was. .

Hannah was having so much fun we had to take a break.  She decided she wanted to climb up bails of hay. . .



So she was so excited she threw handfuls of hay up in the air. . .



So the haunt cont. . . to find the perfect pumpkin. . . We then cont. to search through the pumpkin forest,

searching and searching. . .

 and searching some more. . . . .

Then we found it. . . we found two of them. . .

Now since we found the pumpkins in the pumpkin forest it was time to climb out. . .

So Hannah got out. . . but apparently I was still lost. . .but where was I?

 I'm some where lost in the pumpkin forest. . . but where?
Ahhh found at last. . .

So after a long grueling road, we've emerged victorious on our quest for the perfect pumpkin. . .

we've found many bizarre friends along the way. . .

Sir Straw B. Erry. . .

Lady E. G. G. Plant. . &  Mr. C. E. Lery. . .

The Guardian. . . the workers. . . & the friendly guide. . .

To reach the end of our adventure we had to cross the treacherous close line bridge. . .

& climb the forbidden stairs.
 

To finally reach the Pile of Pumpkins. . .

Just to make our way to the gated guardians whom we had to feed the minions. . .before . . .

Hannah had to tame the most ferocious guardian of them all. . .
